OM Tiles – Payment Methods & Pricing Policy

At Om Floor and Tiles, we are committed to providing a transparent, secure, and seamless shopping experience. Whether you are a homeowner selecting tiles for a bathroom renovation or a commercial contractor fitting out a new development, we want you to feel confident when transacting with us.

The following policy outlines the terms regarding our accepted payment methods, currency, taxation, and pricing structures. By placing an order with Om Floor and Tiles, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Pricing and Currency

All prices quoted on the Om Floor and Tiles website, in our catalogues, and within our showrooms are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Goods and Services Tax (GST):

Retail Customers: Prices quoted for our retail products are strictly inclusive of GST. The price you see is the final price you pay, ensuring no surprises at the checkout.
Wholesale & Trade: Prices quoted for our wholesale products, commercial tenders, or trade-specific price lists are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. GST will be calculated and added to the final invoice total in accordance with Australian taxation laws.

2. Pricing Updates & Fluctuations

Due to the dynamic nature of the construction industry and the fact that many of our premium natural stones and porcelain tiles are imported, our costs can be influenced by international currency exchange rates and shipping logistics.

Consequently, prices are subject to change at any time at our absolute discretion and without prior notice.

While we endeavor to keep our website and showroom labels up to date, there may be instances where a price has changed before we have had the opportunity to update our display. In such cases, the current system price at the time of purchase will prevail. If you have received a formal written quote from us, the pricing on that quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issue, after which it may be subject to review.

3. Pricing Errors & Corrections

Despite our best efforts to ensure accuracy, errors may occasionally occur in the listing price of an item on this website or in our marketing materials (e.g., typographical errors or system glitches).

Om Floor and Tiles reserves the right to cancel your order if an error has occurred in the listing price.

If you place an order for a product that was listed at an incorrect price:

We will immediately suspend the processing of the order.
We will endeavor to contact you via email or phone to inform you of the error and the cancellation.
We will promptly refund any amounts that were incorrectly charged to your credit card or bank account.
Where possible, we will endeavor to re-offer the products to you for sale at their corrected, current price, though you are under no obligation to proceed with the purchase at the higher rate.

4. Online Vs. In-Store Pricing

Please be aware that prices may vary between our physical retail showrooms and our online store.

Our website may occasionally run “Online Exclusive” promotions, flash sales, or clearance events that are not available in-store due to stock location or logistics. Similarly, our showrooms may offer “Manager’s Specials” on end-of-batch stock that is not listed online.

Consequently, prices in our online store, including any online promotional pricing, may not be matched in our retail stores. We treat our online platform and our physical showrooms as distinct shopping channels, each with its own inventory management and overhead structures.

5. Accepted Payment Methods

To ensure your project stays on schedule, we offer a variety of instant and secure payment methods.

Credit and Debit Cards: We accept valid Visa, MasterCard, and American Express cards. Payments are processed immediately to ensure faster dispatch of your goods. Please note that for high-value commercial transactions, a small surcharge may apply to American Express payments.

Direct Bank Transfer (EFT): For large orders, trade accounts, or customers who prefer not to use credit cards, we accept Direct Deposit.

Please use your Order Number as the payment reference.
Note that goods will only be dispatched once the funds have fully cleared in our bank account. This can take 1–2 business days depending on your financial institution.

Digital Wallets: For express checkout online, we support secure digital wallets including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. These methods allow you to complete your purchase without manually entering your card details for every transaction.

6. Payment Security

Security is our top priority. Om Floor and Tiles utilises industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect your personal and financial information during transmission.

We do not store your full credit card number or CVV code on our internal servers. All credit card transactions are processed through a validated, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateway. This ensures that your sensitive financial data remains private and secure at all times.

7. Ownership Of Goods

Title and ownership of the goods remain with Om Floor and Tiles until full payment has been received and cleared. For account customers, ownership does not pass until all outstanding invoices have been settled in full. We reserve the right to recover goods if payment terms are not met.
